I think it's a good idea but I also think employers should have access to drug rehab for employees who may be having issues.

But we also need to understand how we got here and that all began with one Richard Nixon and his 1971 phony launching of his "War On Drugs" which was never about getting drugs off the street. Nixon decided to heavily penalize anybody (namely people of color) with tough jail sentences and stripping them of their voting privileges which was really what it was about to begin with.

Now since 1971 and some nearly $2T spent on the war on drugs and all America has to show for hat is the world's worst addiction problem so I have no idea why this war is still being waged.

They do? Our health insurance is tied to our employers.

From what all these adverts are telling me about just a few grains of it being able to kill, I suppose Fentanyl is the reason now.

The only people who should have to be drug tested are people who require high level government clearances and people who employers have (reasonable) suspicion are under the influence while working. Everyone else shouldn't need it.

Still have no idea why when apply for a job I need to drink a gallon of iced tea so I can hand someone a cup of my piss.

Probably won't help productivity and you know teens and people in their 20s will misinterpret it as "oh, now I can come to work high and smoke on my break", not that that isn't already happening

Not sure if it's relaxed to get workers, or if they're adjusting to state laws..
