I'm already seeing people on some sub-reddits complaining that this doesn't sound like LP at all, which is hilarious because LP always changes their music/genre with every album. Mike said that they don't want to be stuck in one box and that every album is always an experiment, so honestly this is on point with the spirit of the band. Emily is my second favorite female vocalist of all time, and she is one of the few women who can really scream and make it sound amazing. And then extremely brought back down when I discovered that one of my favorite female vocalists of all time is apparently a Scientologist and rape apologist. The parts that were good were great and at some points it kinda felt like I was experiencing these songs for the first time again.
