I'm leaning towards new Orleans.

A nice winter one in like Colorado or Utah would be nice as well but I think everyone is looking for something more upbeat than that.

Miami means you have to be in Florida.

I know very little about New Orleans but I'm sure there's a great party scene.

Las Vegas... Gambling and Strip Clubs.
I say that one.

Vegas baby!!!!

I don't object to the concept of a deity, but I am baffled by the notion of one that takes attendance.

Won't be doing any strip clubs, but new Orleans does have a casino as well.

Hmm. Maybe I'm overthinking it and should just do Vegas. Was thinking new Orleans would be interesting and a bit different. And I had fun when I went there in the past, staying in the French Quarter area.

Going with New Orleans. Vegas has gotten too touristy, IMO. I realize that the whole concept of Las Vegas was as a tourist spot, but it's just too much nowadays. It's a completely corporate vibe, unless you know some locals.

New Orleans is probably where I would want to go.

And while excess is the name of the game at a bachelor party, I feel like you'd spend WAY more money doing equivalent activities in Vegas or Miami.

I was in both Vegas and NO for work in May, and personally Vegas is my vote, hands down. I did not have a good experience in NO (mostly my own stupid fault, but basically got roofied and had my wallet stolen), but loved Vegas. There also was a shooting on one of the main drags in NO in broad daylight right at the time I was there (1pm).

For how much money I was out in both places, the value I got from Vegas was far, far better.

Im sure many folks can have a great time in NO, but for me I walked away really thinking it was a shithole.

True, but Fremont St is still a good alternative option vs The Strip. I hit that up twice when I was out there and was glad I did.

It's going to be in April. We're purposely going to not do it in Mardi gras. Everywhere I research says to not even attempt a Mardi gras bachelor party because it would just be too packed.

I hate heat but at least Las Vegas has no humidity so if you arent directly in the sun is way more tolerable weather wise and cools off at night. Outside weather related though Im just not a big fan of Vegas and think its an overrated city unless you just absolutely want to spend time in casinos and catching a few shows.

New Orleans would be excellent when it comes to food and I think would have the best celebratory atmosphere. When it comes to food, music, drinks/nightlight its an excellent city that accommodates groups well. My one drawback would be heat and humidity. Its like the most humid place in the U.S. for the year. Id be in a constant state of sweat. It can also be very rainy.

So I should have said at the beginning this would be very dependent on when you are going as far as weather goes. I wouldnt even consider New Orleans like in July or August.

Then we have Miami. Also can be very humid, hot, and rainy in the summer. But if youre going after hurricane season ends in November and over the winter? Excellent weather. Not so hot, humidity drops, little rain. You have a lot of the advantages to night life that both Vegas and New Orleans offer but you also have the beach and a much more scenic town in my opinion.

Some excellent Cuban food spots as well. The drawback would be Winter is high tourist season so crowded more than usual and higher prices.

For me out of these 3 choices if its Winter Im choosing Miami. I think it would be significantly better to me. If its Summer Id choose Vegas by default just to avoid the humidity of the other two even though I dont like it as a town.

No matter what you choose have fun and enjoy.

*edit* I see as I was typing you said April. Miami would still be my pick. Its early spring before hurricane season and before the bad humidity but still warm. Its after the touristy high season over winter and prices are lower and crowds not as bad. Its legitimately one of the best times to visit. Miami wins this for me.

My husband wouldn't let me show my tits in New Orleans.

It was a 10/10 experience. Will go there with him again.

The best bachelor party I ever went to was in New Orleans.

It's the kind of city where you can show up with zero plans, yet somehow have something to do all day and night long.
