I thought up this poll after the Shinra Building section in FFVII Remake.

as long as there's a handrail, like 1 maybe 2

Is a flight one set or 2 sets of stairs?

I live on the 3rd floor so I frequently do 6 segments... is that 3 flights or 6 flights?

2 easily, since my kitchen is up on the 3rd floor.

If you cant climb five without any major issues, isnt basically a disability at that point?

Somewhere in the 6-20 range. I tried to walk up the stairs in Universal Studios Hollywood that connect the lower and upper lots and I couldn't do it without taking a break. But that is 345 stairs in total.

dunno, can't remember ever doing more than two floors worth in a row, I usually take the elevator if its more than one or two floors.

I'm not sure. I've never attempted a max. I know I did at least 10 on the last cruise I went on (pre-buffet) because the elevators were too crowded. So at least that.

Not at a fast pace, but TBH It'd be hard for me to find a limit. I have incredible endurance for stuff like that, but i cant move that fast.

Like run or walk. I used to work nights in a high rise and it was 28 floors, and ran them a few times, or tried. I got like half way or so. I did kinda cheat and use the railing to kinda whip me around to retain or even increase momentum.

Of course I was like 19 at the time or something.

I used to run up stairs, I was able to skip like 3 or 4 steps for everytime my foot made contact with the stairs

I don't know. There isn't really anywhere around here I'd go to that would have enough stairs for me to get an idea.

I used to climb 20 flights of stairs a few times in my building after completing a 8-10k run ( I moved so not possible now), I think I could comfortably do 50 after a bit of a warm up.

No warm up and straight to climbing, maybe 20

i usually do 20 at the gym, as part of a workout. if i was just doing stairs i think i could do 100.

A flight is from a floor or landing to the next floor or landing, so in your case it would be 6 flights.

I've done 27 up and down, and while it turned my legs to jelly, I think 50 upwards is doable. I might use my arms to pull my legs up, but it's doable.

I sprinted up all twenty floors of my dormitory once in college in 1 minute and 5 seconds. There was definitely some performance enhancers but still.

Probably like 8 to 10 if it's at a normal walking pace.

I genuinely don't know, but I work legs a lot and walk up 3 flights regularly at work with no problem. I'm sure I could do 10-20 without too much hassle. I hiked Mt. Tammany (3.5m round trip) a year or two back without needing a break, although we took a break at the top because that's the point lol It was my first real hike too, I was proud that I handled it so well. And I'm in better shape now.

Automatic stairclimbers at the gym don't count btw because the steps move down as you step on them and it's just not the same movement as regular steps or the non-automatic stairclimbers.
