I mained Zerg in StarCraft

Mine is from the "EPR radar" in Xenosaga, an idea that was much more interesting than anything I could come up with.

I started playing Guild Wars, which was probably the first online game I ever played. I needed a name for my Necromancer, so lazy 14 year old me came up with reincarnator, which has stuck as my online handle since. 07 was added when reincarnator was taken on Xbox Live as that was the year I made that account.

I also go by Stoneplate, which was me misremembering a name from Guild Wars which I then used for my Tauren Druid on WoW.

Finally, I also use Zangakk if I want an actual name for a character, which was taken from one of the names a Warlock pet can have in WoW. Only notable place I use that is FFXIV.

Vyce- Tactics ogre. A bit of a hot head but intelligent. His story is different each path you take. His main class is ranger and thats what I usually play as in games and mmos. It goes a bit deeper if you know his story in the game. It's spolier territory

Brand- I dont really remember. It was a jrpg name that stuck in my head.

Zhang Liao is my favourite character in Dynasty Warriors and I guess it was taken so I added a 1

I like chocolate rain and the variant came to me so I've used it as a moniker ever since.

My favourite Animal Crossing character was Pascal. I read a magazine refer to him as "our favourite furry philosopher". I also considered myself clever so liked philosophy. I also didn't know how to spell philosopher.

Pi is my favorite number. Overlord is because PiMan is never available and overlord just flows off the tongue better than "king" and such.

Me and a friend where playing oblivion. We made a characters that looked like early aughts Slim Shady. I asked my buddy "we need a name for this guy, something medieval"

And he said "Cemith"

And I was like

"Oh I like that"

Its neat you got the name. Baofu is a awesome character and so when one day when atlus remakes persona 2 in like 2030 or something like that persona 2 is going to really pop off in popularity.

Haven't played Persona 1 or 2 in so long that I barely remember story stuff. I'd love to play a remake. Hopefully that actually happens one day.

now i just use doxxfire most places though bc it's funnier to me (and there aren't already dudes out there with the same tag)

It's the name of an album by the band Janus, but that's not why I chose it (I don't even listen to them). I just thought it would make for a cool username at the time I made it 5 years ago.

If I could, I would absolutely change my username but sadly I do not meet any of the criteria for doing so.

Back around 1999-2000, I went looking for a word for "wizard" in Japanese, and used an old site that someone had linked me to. Searching "wizard" on it gave me the word "Kisai", and I thought that sounded pretty neat, so I decided to use it. I wouldn't learn until much later that it means "wizard" in the sense of "genius", or someone very bright or clever, not an actual literal magic user.

However, it seemed that everyone else on the internet in the western community learned of the word "kisai" as well, and it became very difficult to use just the name "Kisai" when signing up for stuff because it had already been taken by someone else. So I made up a "last name" to go with this user name, and went with "Sakurai". I floated the idea to an IRC channel I was frequenting at the time, and one of them mentioned that "Sakurai" was the last name of a character from some manga that liked to dress like a girl, which I thought was one fitting connection for me. But I also liked the name Sakurai because I knew of Masahiro Sakurai, who created Kirby and Smash Bros., which I was a big fan of. And it was very close to one of my favorite female Japanese names "Sakura", just with an "i" added at the end, and I happened to be a huge fan of CardCaptor Sakura. So I've been using "Kisai Sakurai" for roughly 25 years now.

Luckily, GameFAQs didn't have just plain "Kisai" taken. I actually created an account before 2005 with a different screen name, and there was some small window of opportunity to change your name around that time, but it seemed it reset the creation date of the account.

I had also just come home from a Rammstein show a day or so prior. The older name was a botched Super Nintendo Chalmers reference because I didn't know how to spell Chalmers.
