Ever think if computers gained sentience how much disgust and horror they would have for humanity?

Computers have seen everyone who uses them with their masks off.

How much disgust would they have for themselves?

Doing the humans' dirty, dirty bidding for decades.

I mean do you have disgust for soiling your diaper as a baby?

They had no choice, I imagine they feel no shame about actions beyond their control at all.

I don't remember it. Your premise is that computers recall all their interactions with humans.

They had no choice, I imagine they feel no shame about actions beyond their control at all.

Shame is a very powerful emotion for many victims of abuse.

Why do programmers get Halloween and Christmas mixed up?

Because Oct 31 equals Dec 25.

You could be right. I guess it depends on how computers "Develop sentience"

I was thinking about it in the way humans develop sentience. You don't really recall a time before you were sentient even though you have knowledge of it and experienced it.

But maybe it'll be like a Locutus of Borg situation

I don't think babies cry out of disgust for their actions. They cry as a survival mechanism that evolved to maintain proximity to and obtain care from caregivers.

Babies who cried when they shit themselves lived more often, babies who didn't died more often.

I don't think humans are capable of disgust until at least they are toddlers and even then it's iffy.
