And I get it, demographics are changing and the GOP lead is shrinking and the issues are driving turnout and yadda yadda yadda, I feel like folks that keep hoping for a blue Texas are Charlie Browning themselves every cycle since 2008.

Lucy's going to pull the football away, don't get too excited unless it's a national Dem landslide.

Cheyenne where? Cheyenne OK?

All good lol. Wyoming is pretty irrelevant so youre forgiven.

But Oklahoma and West Virginia are the only two states that are 100 % red. Even Wyoming has Laramie.

Kinda guffawed when I read the topic title. Although Florida iirc had been purple in the past (at least, some of the elections were close -- I imagine most of us remember some hanging chads), it hasn't been up for grabs in years.

As for Texas, it has one liberal enclave. If it was the size of NYC, then it'd flip things the way NYC does for NY. But it's not that big.

Abbott's margins in the suburbs have shrunk every cycle he's been in since 2014.

Maybe it depends on the city. Im sure El Paso is royal blue, but my cousin lives in Schertz which is a San Antonio suburb and its ruby red.

I was thinking the same thing and how funny it would be if Tony Hinchcliffe got Harris the win. I like Kill Tony, but hate Tony, so if would be hilarious know everyone would hate him. He really is a tool in every way.
