indeed xenoblade X is arguably the most requested wii U port only beaten POSSIBLY by the zelda remasters ( i say that as people actually got to play those on popular hardware so there is less of a demand)

That's just semantics, call it whatever you want. I'm not the only one calling it a port. It's basically an enhanced port, the same basic game with upscaled graphics. That clock tower rewind had some minor additions like new intros and stuff and it was called a port.

Look, the info I heard was from someone who had seen content of the game but didn't know all the details. It looked like an upscaled port, basically. It was close enough.

The people leaking these things aren't developers who know all the details. They get bits of info and the details are questionable. The existence of the game and the gist of the budget isn't.
