For Trump, a historically unpopular candidate, to buck the trend of Republican Presidential nominees losing the popular vote is.... surprising, to say the least.

It still has to go, even if it wouldn't have mattered this time.

So in total there is 20 million less voters than 2020? Do they know this already or will it change once the count is finished?

At this point I only have two things two believe; either the game was rigged from the start, or Humans just aren't ready for a democracy. Perhaps one day when they get tired of fascism, we can adopt a form of government that takes into consideration just how stupid the average person is.

You can call the election fraudulent like several have already decided to do.

Instead of accepting this country would rather have a fascist in charge

It was supposed to be Biden-Trump 2024. It was too close in 2020

Would Biden have beat Trump this time? Who knows but they gave Harris only a few months campaign

I hoped Harris would make this election closer. I think she should run again for president after this term.

Yeah Biden was not going to win. I hate to admit it but it looks like the polls were right.

Nah Harris needs to go away after this. Everyone tied to Biden and Dems of the past 3 decades right now is a poison pill so the Dems will need to get some fresh faces for the national game. But after a certain point we need to start looking at the electorate and realize many will gladly accept fascism and sacrifice their fellow countrymen for small improvements in their lives.

Trump's entire campaign was running on the idea that he'd already won and the election was a formality, so its possible I guess. But at the moment there's just zero proof Trump didn't just win fair and square and for some reason, Kamala just had a monumental underperformance.

Though if the election was rigged, we'll hear about it soon because Trump, Elon, and all the people who are now going to be running the country are too stupid to keep that to themselves. Shame it won't matter.

I don't think Harris should run again. The American people have decided that they're tired of the status quo, and want something different, even if what's different is hazardous to them. Dems should've ran with a progressive candidate. Obama's hope and change platform really resonated with people, even if he was actually an establishment Democrat.

Ye, but that's how I've always felt, even as a kid I could see the writing on the wall, I was just hoping that it was something about the people I grew up with and wasn't really reflective of the world at large. Trump winning 2016 did a real number on my faith in people, then his performance in 2020 killed it.

I genuinely wish I could say I was surprised or confused by Trump winning, but the only thing I was wrong about was that he also won the popular vote with so much of a gap.
