Can't really wag a "the campaign was bad!" when they went everywhere and did everything that conventionally is agreed to be what people do. Some parts could have been improved. The messaging fumbled hard, but as far as everything else? Pretty strong. But for him none of this matters because that is him, fully, and people like that. Harris did not run a flawless campaign. But it turns out Republicans will vote for whatever turd they put up in large numbers despite him making gaffe after gaffe(like people in the voting booths had him deep throating his microphone fresh on their minds) but democrats needs to feel energizes and aren't just willing to vote for whoever. I don't know what to say, but while that selection mindset puts us in awful situations like this, I can't say anything other than we need to make the candidate message better.
