I played the Fasa games. Shadowrun you had ork and troll. Earthdawn had ork, obsidimen(rock people) and windlings ( winged fairy archtype). Each had their plus and minuses. Obsidimen had great strength and natural armor but were slow. Windlings had low str, high agility. They had their own mounts. They were made to be a rogue or scout type race.
