I think it is like a decade old but there for awhile I got really into taking my ipad pro to work and playing games on my tablet. There is a free game called The Tribez that is way better than it has any business being. A city builder resource management game that is just straight up fun. Looks gorgeous, is charming, and you honestly don't need to spend a penny on it to make progress and have fun. Final Fantasy IV played pretty well on mobile. Granted you could probably find it free and play it on mobile but I played the official release.
