It will be a reverse new deal. The only way to stave off the apocalyptic effects is to end social security, Medicaid, Medicare, and default on any legacy benefits for government employees.

the billionaires know that when the economy collapses they'll be able to swoop in and buy everything substantial for a fraction of what it used to be worth.

Trump will say "the government can't afford this anymore because we don't have enough money, everything has to be privatized"

Yup, just grabbed a 9800X3D and other parts for a new build. I doubt I'll get lucky enough to grab a 5000 series card before the tariffs, though.
