Almost all of them come from Hims. Ive never even had an ED problem or searched for these pills. Yet theyre constantly in my social media feed.

They don't need to oversell to old men who don't need convincing they need it. When I was in my teens hair loss commericals had me buying this special shampoo.

I heard some hair regrowth stuff can cause that issue. Plus dudes can wack it too much these days which can cause issues.

I lost my sex drive in my 30s.

They're just going for a market expansion and trying to normalize their product to potentially get lifelong customers.

Plus, so many men today are overweight if not obese, live sedentary lifestyles, have poor heart health and high blood sugar. All not great for ED.

Speaking from a gay male perspective, Ive encountered a number of guys who took them. As Ive gotten older I dont think its anything to be ashamed of, its whatever. My ex used them sometimes because his anxiety medication gave him performance issues.

A podcast that I listen to randomly advertised this on one of their ad reads for about a week. On the rare occasion I couldn't reach my phone to fast forward, it was awkward as fuck.

Podcast is a bunch of dudes in their 30s, so I guess it fit their demo.

Never trust any of these companies that shill their product like crazy to anyone and everyone, especially YouTube people.

I don't think I've ever heard of a good product from a YouTube ad

Sports talk radio is the worst. Every single time I listen to it I am constantly reminded that I am morbidly obese, losing my hair, suffer from ED and low testosterone and will probably need a divorce lawyer in the near future.

Actually, I've taken them. Mixture of being in my 40s and having anxiety issues... yeah. Almost never take them anymore though, as my wife has alleviated my anxiety

I have a ridiculous libido. Its a blessing and a curse at times.

ED and heart disease can hit men as early as their mid 30's, esp. in the United States.
That said, these commercials are partially aimed at boner-competent men and porn actors who just want to abuse the medication for extended boners. In fact, viagra is frequently abused in industrial porn so the guys can maintain 1-2 hour long boners for all of those extended shots.

In addition, just because the actors are 30 year old guys doesn't necessarily mean that is their target demographic. I'm sure it's partly an advertising tactic so the 45yo guy says "Well, if 30 year old guys are having problems getting it up, that makes me feel less ashamed. It's settled, I'm getting viagra!"
Just like the traditonal viagra and cialis commercials ALWAYS involved a strapping 60-something male actor who looks closer to 50 and couldn't possibly have erectile issues. Those are meant to make the viewer feel less ashamed because "wow, even that healthy/muscular looking guy has ED? That makes me feel so much better about myself" The intent is to allay the shame that might be prevent them from asking for boner pills.

Edit: Viagra can also be useful for paraplegics.

Finasteride(propecia) can cause a number of issues, including permanent issues getting hard and getting off.

Modern life leads to a lot of conditions that effect libido and erections. Male pattern baldness, depression, etc.

Remember when Rafael Pameiro was doing ads for viagra. Prolly got ED from the steroid use.

I have severe depression and its still not an issue. If anything its a reprieve from said depression.

Straterra was like that for me and I still had some issues with Lexapro and Adderall, but I just went on Intuniv and I DON'T have the sexual dysfunction problems anymore. It even seems to have reversed some of it.

Not in and of itself; but the post would seem transphobic to someone who doesnt realise its mocking transphobia (or someone pretending not to realise it). Thats what makes me think mods will hit it.
