I lift weights like 3 times a week and do cardio almost ever day and dat STILL didn't prevent me from having sore arms and hands after cutting down some big dead plants i had lmao

Dat was 2 days ago and i can still feel soreness when gripping or lifting things lol, I'm starting to think da average American won't be taking all dose tough labor jobs dat will be available in 2 months, no way no how

Today. Also, going to the gym doesnt qualify as hard labor.

Dats because your hands use an entirely different set of muscles to grip and to do stuff tbh ;;;oooo

When I moved from Michigan to Chicago and took a bunch of crates of books and classroom equipment to my new school. Hit a bad traffic backup and due to the fact I didnt want to bring all that back to my new apartment had to lug 16 milk crates full of books up three flights of stairs in about 45 minutes. Ive run marathons and that is the most tired I have been.

I had a 50-60ft tall oak tree cut down in my front yard this summer. Split and stacked the entire thing. It snows here, Ive been shoveling piles and piles of snow (we got like 30+ inches in 16 hours) for the last two days. Ive been renovating the motel I run, so carpets being ripped up and hauled out, old beds etc

so basically everything I do is hella hard labor

My forearms hurt

I try to dig myself out of the hole everyday

Rented a U-Haul and moved all of my cousin's stuff out of her college apartment in Jersey, drove to Philly, carried all the shit up to her new place in August heat.

Recently did a K swap on my 99 civic hatchback

In August for me I took an overnight train from DC to Georgia, drove 40 miles each way to pick up a Uhaul since last minute they told me they didn't have it locally, hitched my old Camaro to it (did it there and asked them to double check it since they weren't allowed to do it themselves), loaded the truck with my mom's stuff mostly by myself, drove 12 hours back to Maryland, unloaded the Uhaul truck, loaded some of my stuff in the truck, got a storage unit and unloaded my shit and some of her shit in there, and then finally dropped off the Uhaul

All within the span of a weekend

i hate moving day tbh... especially now if ever move somewhere. i don't have help anymore to move shit. only myself. unless i pay movers to do so.

Carrying stuff is one thing, but taking the furniture apart and putting it back together was the worst part for me. It made it all take so damn long.
