I told my mom the local electric company's raising their rates in January, and she argued that I was wrong and Trump will bring them down. I showed her the email and she just pfft'd it off.

My mom is too. She acts like anyone who disagrees with Trump is some wild, stupid, anti-American, lunatic who wants to destroy the country.

She becomes wildly defensive over even the slightest criticism of Trump, but will openly insult those who don't support him.

I have never seen this kind of behavior from her. She genuinely cares for the community, and the people of the country, despises sexism and racism, and wants to protect people. But Trump doesn't do it's like a switch gets flipped in her brain and she just blindly follows him regardless of the effects it'll have, while criticizing others for not looking at how it'll affect things.

To her, and most of my family, Harris was the devil and Trump being elected again is the countries salvation.

That's exactly how mine is. She gets highly pissed off over any criticism of him like she's taking it personally.

There is a southern branch of my family that is fully in the bag for Trump. I have a cousin there who is very liberal and lived two doors down from her Mom and Dad. She used call me and my Dad crying because her parents will not stop talking about Donald Trump. Every dinner. Every outing with the grandkids. Every discussion for years. Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump.

She finally got fed up and she moved her family to Michigan. After years of MAGA talk all the time every day, she didnt even want to be in a room with her own parents.

Make no mistake: MAGA is a cult. Full stop. It is so damn weird, especially because Trump is so obviously pathetic. I have been a Democrat my whole life.
