Be real here, Trump is going to just pardon who he wants anyway like he did the first time. There was no shitty Obama pardon to justify Stone, Arpaio, Manafort, D'Souza, Flynn, or that monster Gallagher

I don't know why we even still pretend to play this game that the GOP are operating under rational or consistent principles, and if Dems/Biden act appropriately then they won't get mad. Reps will always pitch a fit at what Democrats. They might as well just start doing whatever the fuck they want if the backlash will be the same anyways. What's going to happen, they'll lose elections because they're not pure enough?

Sadly no, Republicans and consecutive media are probably going to keep bringing this up for years to come. Every time Trump does something corrupt or even criminal they'll just bring this up as a false equivalency so they can easily deflect to it and avoid any accountability. And of course the "liberal" media will just go along with it like they always do.

I'm so sick of all the pearl clutching and fake outrage every time democrats show the least bit of impropriety.

I would say they're held to a double standard, but that implies that republicans are held to a standard.
