I've been super hungry today, and I gave in and ate a lot, just like those old CJ days. I was wondering if there are any zero or low-calorie foods I can eat on days like this. I know about miracle noodles, which are only about 5 calories, and carrots, but carrots just make me even hungrier. --- Pronouns: I'M/HIM ... Copied to Clipboard!

Japanese yam noodles. Just boil them for about 5 minutes, and throw them in some type of ramen or udon soup base but don't drink the soup. But require some type of asian grocery store though. The yam noodles are something like 10 calories for 100 grams. Its basically solidified water. The texture isn't like a regular noodle though, its like a jelly noodle, but it is still firm and has a bite to it. They generally look like this: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/a/a587d26a.jpg By the way, straight out of the bag, they smell fishy, but once you boil it that smell goes away. and they have zero flavor, they take on whatever flavor you cook them in, which is why you throw them in ramen soup base. I'm cooking them tomorrow, making a japanese hot pot of beef, potatoes, yam noodles, and other veggies. --- Living example of pulling myself up with bootstraps. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yadoken posted... Japanese yam noodles.... Thanks for the suggestion, but I think those are the same as miracle noodles. I take them out of the bag, put them in a strainer, and wash them to get rid of that nasty water. Then, I cook them in a pot by themselves for about 5 minutes. After that, I add them to my pasta sauce and turkey meat. But with those I would have to make something else with them. --- Pronouns: I'M/HIM ... Copied to Clipboard!

Celery Pickles & cucumbers Strawberries (love me some freeze dried strawberries) Spinach, kale, cabbage, lettuce, etc. Hay and hay like substances (lemongrass, Carrot tops, etc). This stuff is super chewy though so either blend it in a smoothie or cook it or you'll be ruminating for hours. --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ... But I don't want to spend days making the Ramen base from scratch. Are there good brands of Ramen broth/bases in a jar that would be worth using? I live by several asian grocery stores, I just don't know really what to look for (I just moved here and haven't asked anyone at the stores yet). --- Sent from my AI Chatbot ... Copied to Clipboard!

Typically anything fiber heavy is recommended, but lately, when I eat fiber, I feel "full", but not "satiated". There's a demand for protein in there. Could be cause I just injured some muscles. --- evening main 2.4356848e+91 https://youtu.be/Acn5IptKWQU ... Copied to Clipboard!

I live by several asian grocery stores, I just don't know really what to look for (I just moved here and haven't asked anyone at the stores yet). Make your own from base ingredients. Start by adding ground up bonito flakes to boiling water, then add a little bit of Shoyu soy sauce and mirin cooking wine. This is not your broth. This is what you start with. If you want to can strain this through cheesecloth but it's not necessary. From here boil some pig feet in it. Add spring onion, ginger powder, and minced garlic. Take out the pig feet when you're satisfied with how thick the broth gets. You can buy all this stuff already prepared. The only real work is boiling water. --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yadoken posted... Japanese yam noodles. These are great but be careful with them, eating too much can cause digestive issues like stomachaches and diarrhea. They're fine as long as you eat them in moderation. Adding them and reducing your carbs is good, eating them instead of your carbs, maybe not good. Personally my favorite is shredded cabbage. If you have a mandolin or a tool made for it you can shred cabbage super easily. I like to lightly salt and microwave some, then put in a bunch of that with a half serving of rice or noodles.
