Yeah, I always find it funny how it's not brought often. People often say TP has great bosses/dungeons but morpheel stands out as a low point for the game.

Pretty much all I remember about Twilight Princess were those handful of moments that were deliberately designed to subvert the expectations of longtime fans. "Oh wow, I'm pretty much just fighting the Jabu's Belly boss all over again with a heavy dose of Morpha thrown in," you'd say as you walk into the Water Temple boss chamber; surprise, it's actually just the head of a gigantic serpent!

I thought it was fun, like most TP boss fights, even though they're too easy. I think the boss fights are the best thing about TP.

Most bosses in TP are stupid easy even by Zelda standards

I get wanting harken back to Morpha with the name Morpheel, but Morpheel is an Octorok. Every other language translation mentions the octo part or the tentacles. Except for English. It should have been named Octeel. Or an even more somewhat convoluted, but slightly deeper Moctopheel. Mock Morpha, Hidden Eel.
