Teenagers are too young and dumb to know any better so whatever major mistakes they make isn't mostly their own fault.

I'm sure a lot of people will say it depends on the major mistakes they make. So then give examples of major mistakes they are to blame for and not to blame for.

True for shit like drugs
Not for stuff like murder and rape

By the time you are a teenager you are fully culpable for your decisions. Im not buying into the too young to know any better.

You'd have to define what you consider major mistakes. Are rape, drug deal, and murder considered major mistakes?

We place restrictions on the things that teenagers can consent to for good reasons.

Most teens know the difference between harmful and unharmful behavior.

They just dont understand the consequences.
