I noticed this at the christmas get together last night. He was suddenly all bashful and shy and wanted to walk her to the train station (despite being a totally lazy bastard the rest of the time).

Looking forward to this leopards eat faces moment when he realises that his prospective dating pool in scotland is probably in the single digits now that he's a proud trump supporter. Nevermind my queer polyamorous marxist friends, lol

Not that I feel bad for them, because they have it coming, but it must be so frustrating for these right-wing aesthetic jackasses when they get in the presence of a woman they find attractive - not just due to being pretty to look at, but because of an inviting smile, a sense of humor that includes laughing at themselves, a warm demeanor, etc. - only to find that the qualities that draw them in are ones that come from a sense of empathy, self-awareness, and the desire for shared happiness.

And then to see that all washed from her posture, face, and voice when she realizes the guy trying to court her has devoted himself to outwardly hating all the things that grant her the tenderness he craves.

And they cant get over the fact that many women are perfectly happy being single vs dealing with their shit.

I feel bad for them in the sense that they've been pulled in and duped by bad info and shitty influences. I don't feel bad for them when it comes to scenarios like I described, because they need to learn and that's a real time opportunity. It just sucks that part of their conditioning includes the refusal to learn and reflect.
