Why did I read that as Peirce Bronson dead remove topic

I saw Pierce at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnt want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, Oh, I really appreciate it! Which of my movies is your favorite?
I was taken aback, and all I could say was Goldeneye? but he cut me off by saying Oh, you mean Mamma Mia? and gave me a meaty fist bump. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands that he had just paid for.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like Sir, please have a good day! At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and walked back to the counter and offered her a Milky Way.
When she took one of the bars he closed his distance and gave her a hug and then turned around and winked at me. I dont even think thats a word. Afterwards, he continued towards the exit, but turned mid-stride and said You guys have a better day!
Then I went home and had some Totinos pizza rolls.
