Electricity in several states actually comes from provinces like BC, Ontario and Quebec, so Canada could literally black out chunks of the US.

So there is a possibility some states will not have power as long as Trump is in office.

I think most Canadians are not happy that Trump is looking to start up a huge trade war. That sucks for everyone concerned.

But we aren't going to just let our country get fucked over just because we are "nice people". We want a good working relationship with the US. The US and Canada are each other's closest and most important trade partners. It benefits everyone for us to work together. We ain't gonna just take the worst end of it all when Trump and co. fucks with it.

Canada is not going to bail us out nor should they.
