why is it easier for me to talk in text but harder with a voice i really wanna play card games, but i only have one person who does that. i am not comfortable in the slightest with just joining a vc with people i've never spoken to before. even if i can get along with them just fine in text form, my brain is just like "what if you didn't know how to talk or what any word meant or form a coherent sentence with thought behind it" the second i have to speak. in person i can manage fine, i'm fine, but a voice chat just doesn't work to me all because wizards wont just develop their stupid arena app to add commander play, because bandai doesn't think their niche products might have more success if they could be played digitally. --- see my gundams here https://imgur.com/a/F7xKM5r updated 12/10/24; mg age 2 normal ... I hate texting or typing to talk, it feels harder to show personality that way. Text is always more easy for me too. I have used VC before and often go quite unless the other person is moving the conversation along. I guess I'm like that in real life too as I never know what to talk about unless someone brings up something or I know someone is interested in something. Most of my friends are disembodied discord voices. You can always break the ice by asking "how are you". Some people are looking for an excuse to trauma dump and quiet people are the best listeners. When you get to be very extraverted it loops back around to being annoying because you only want to talk about things that concern you. ... Copied to Clipboard!
