Here we go! New set just dropped and well have to see how the meta shifts. I almost wanted to skip straight to Diamond and Pearl because of how Gen4 this new set is, but Im going to stay the course.

All three of the starters are lame, so I just went with the meme answer.

Poll looks to be what I expected

Youll need a full art Cynthia card for the Garchomp emblem apparently along with a few 1 star cards.

Not a crazy haul but I've had worse stretches of luck pulling on Genetic Apex

Still sitting on 680 pack hourglasses but I'll probably just revert to opening the free daily packs for now. Maybe when I get the motivation to blow through the solo battles I'll spend whatever hourglasses those give out

Probably Treecko, but never cared for any of them much.

I managed to wonder pick a second Volkner, so once I get a second Pokmon tool Ill probably try out a PachirisuEX/Luxray deck for fun. Id really like to get Electivire to commit to the build, but could still be a good trial run

Did like a 40/50 pull got 2 Dialga EX. I will do more pulls tomorrow once the premium pass restarts to complete the missions on pulled from the Dialga pack.

highly doubt it changes anything. you just notice what you pull with 10 at once and if you get good stuff vs garbage. compared to 10 packs spread out across 5 days you're not really gonna remember most of what you got.

i barely played the game in like a month besides opening packs and doing wonder picks trying to get the promo mew still but found out EX cards and maybe the vaporeon from the mew pack doesn't count towards it. but guess with trading it can make getting the 3 cards i'm missing for that and 2 other cards i'm missing from the original packs more possible with a trade. the mew pack so easy to complete.

so what looks like the new meta now? i haven't looked at all the cards yet. i got 2 mesprit from both packs i opening so far and that card looks like absolute trash. need to have both azelf and uxie on your bench and have to discard all energy from mesprit for 160 damage when it only has 70 health. guessing the other 2 have similar conditions.

44 packs, 0 EX and One Full Art. How are you all doing so amazing? Four of those were 10 pack pulls for 40 so if that effects the odds I'm still getting screwed.

I'm only interested in collecting cards and only auto battle with auto-built decks just so I can get hourglasses. Should I build my own decks on a card-to-card level so tougher solo battles are easier? Could I just make OP decks that easily win, or would it not make much of a difference?

If the odds changed based on pulling 1 vs pulling 10 the app would be legally obligated to not only tell you thats the case but also publish the exact odds for each

You can easily win the solo battles with any decent deck. But the challenges attached to them like win without your opponent getting points can be hard to pull off without a meta deck or just getting lucky with coin flips. Auto battle wont help much in the hardest ones, the AI is pretty dumb.

There should be a separate topic for trades. I enjoy the discussions and people posting pulls but pages of people going back and forth on trade details is not very engaging.

Nice. I tried this on a whim after seeing how nice the art was. Now if only I'd gotten this lucky when wonder picking for a full art Shaymin earlier.

Wonderglasses no longer worth buying with the god pack exploit killed off.
Unless you want to take a chance if a certain card you see appears.

Still worth having if you're chasing normal ex cards or the full arts you like. But yeah I'd prioritize pack hourglasses first.

Playing around with a metal deck since I have 2 Dialga ex, just realized I only have one Malmetal which sucks. So if anyone is willing to trade me one, pm and we can figure something out.

I'm thinking I can get around with playing a 1-1 line for now and use Skarmory and Tauros and maybe another colorless as fillers. I like Regigigas, but that retreat cost is ridiculous. if you get stuck with it in the active turn 1 might as well concede.
