Second, the billionaire oligarchs, mainly Musk, who are looking to exploit the current situation to accrue as much power and capital as possible

Third, the people behind the scenes. Trump's "handlers", the ones trying to force through Project 2025 as fast as possible, to turn America into a Christo-fascist ethnostate.

Is that about right?

They pretty much either died out or jumped ship to the Democrats long ago.

you forgot about the prior establishment who essentially built this situation and are now desperately trying to stay relevant and backtrack it, like mitch mcconnell

Or people who want to force the country to worship their false beliefs of God.

Because the first two alone have egos bigger than the fucking planet, the behind the scenes guys only know Christianity as a way to make themselves look saintly.

I didn't include moderate conservatives or Never-Trumpers, because while I'm sure there are still some, even a few in Congress, they really hold no power or influence in this administration.

Kind of. Calling the Fascists "Trump's handlers" probably oversells their importance at the moment. Things are more or less run by the Tech Oligarchs and Trump bends to them. In absolute power terms

1. Tech Oligarchs
2. Trump
3. Fascists

The issue is that Musk and Co like a lot of what #3 has to offer and as a result will back them. The reality is they are one united pile of garbage. If they ever don't have any liberal rivals, they'll turn on each other at some point. But for now...

there is those who aren't in the Trump cult and maybe not exactly for project 2025 but they don't want to lose their power so they let those guys get away with it and then whine about democrats

Christian Nationalist is another term that's used a lot, but I don't think it's severe enough for what they want.

They're not trying to backtrack it. They've either actively signed on to group 1 or 3 or fallen into group 3 by default.

The tech oligarchs, or the ones who matter in this situation, are also fascists.

You still have evangelicals, libertarians, religious orthodox and adjacent, etc. And then there's still a few Reagan Republicans trying to find a new niche.

Combine the second and third groups and add in "Cultists who will be behind Trump no matter what" as the third. They are the marks, not people who are getting anything out of this besides suffering, thus they are not in any of the other groups as those are all people taking advantage of the current situation. Thus a different group. Inversely how someone is taking advantage of Trump's buffoonery isn't quite as relevant, especially when it all boils down to them doing things to make more money for themselves.

Not the same type of fascist however. Which is noteworthy. People like Vance and Thiel for instance are monarchists.
