dont know anything about Bulma, so Kaiba (and his Blue-Eyes) for the win

I'll give the edge to Bulma. They're both cocky and vain, but Bulma is always willing to be a team player, as opposed to saying your tournament stops for nothing, no matter how many people get smited by God himself.

bulma, up until she changes her hair to that weird afro thing that just looks fuckin stupid, then it switches to kaiba with extreme prejudice

s2g krillin is the only character in that series with hair that makes sense and is decent looking, toriyama has an art style, and hair is not in that art style

Bulma is obviously the more successful inventor, in wealth and scale, I'm pretty sure she's the richest person on Earth, funnily fitting that Vegeta, a prince, ended up marrying the closest thing Earth had to a queen of the planet. Bulma has saved the planet through her actions several times.

But I think Kaiba is just a lot more entertaining as a character. He's really the lovable ahole character done right.

His most impressive inventions were shown way into the Yu-gi-oh series decline, during the movie that came out wayyyyyyyyy after the anime ended, and the movie followed the manga timeline rather than the anime one, that being, hard light holograms that can be used as weapons, and a device that can transport living beings into the afterlife (without dying).

Bulma is the one I'm actually familiar with.

she made the time machine in trunks' timeline, which is a pretty insane feat that saved everything

i feel like even back as far as dragonball she was making miscellaneous shit though

Kaiba is one of my favorite anime characters of all time, so I've gotta give it to him.

Even though Bulma is incredibly important and useful in DBZ, she doesn't have as many iconic lines. Either Abridged, Dubbed, or Subbed, Kaiba is king.

bulma is the only reason why the planet still exists

if she didn't find goku in dragonball, he'd still be some feral freak in the mountains by the time raditz and co show up to blow the planet up

+ For some, they got to watch the character grow up from Dragon Ball to Z to GT (No balls!)
+ Her skills did assist the Z fighters on Namek, and she nearly got killed herself
+ As a mom, was a lot better than Chi-Chi
+ Probably my favorite female character in Dragonball Z, since I don't like Chi-chi or Videl that much

Bulma invented Gohan's Great Saiyaman suit. Not just the suit either. He presses a button on his watch and the suit surrounds him

She also reverse engineered the Saiyan suit that Vegeta wore when he first came to Earth, it takes some genius to do be able to understand non-earth technology like that

Kaiba is funnier, but Bulma is definitely more useful / smart.
