House Party and Hunie Pop are really the only ones that come to mind. There's an interesting looking Metroidvania called FlipWitch or something. Also Subverse seems like it has a cool style, I think it's supposed to be multi-genre with an RTS focus. But it never seems like that style of game sees much experimentation. Games that are just good games.

there's plenty actually, but two REALLY stand out

Monster Girl Quest: Paradox is INSANELY good. There's literally hundreds (800~?) of available party members, hundreds of jobs and races, and the guy worked on it for like 15 years. Go look at the part 3 trailer on youtube for a sense of the scale of it

Demons Roots is one of the best games I've ever played even though it's RPGmaker at its core. 99% of loods is in side areas and skippable but there's a lot of it. It's 94% positive on steam lol

honorable mention to the Rance series, which is always sorta VN-heavy but they play around with a bunch of different genres. Rance X is essentially an army-building roguelike deck builder

There's a bunch of porn RPGs, platformers, Metroidvanias, and even beat 'em ups if you know where to look.

most are bad rpgmaker games that use stock assets, but there's a lot of experimental ones

While it's more cewd then lood, the Monster Girls and the Mysterious Adventure games come to mind, if you like mystery dungeon gameplay.

All of my recommendations are furry stuff, but with that said.

Tribal Hunter is a very excellent 2d platformer action game with some very lite lood stuff. very specific to certain "interests" though.

Tailbound is a simple NES Zelda-like that's fun enough for a few bucks, it's exclusively M/M content though the creator is making a 2d platformer for Straights, not sure where your interests lie.

There's Corruption of Champions, but that's a text based adventure game, I think it's well known at this point.

Off my wishlist there's Carnal Instinct, looks unfinished still so holding off.

For the Queen is an autobattler.

Wish is another puzzle game like Hunie Pop.

Glass is a slide-puzzle game.

i liked baldr sky so much i went by that moniker on the internet after my agesboy days, made a ffxiv character with that name, and randomly years later met the guy who was translating it in ffxiv frontlines. greatest day of my life.

I don't remember them being particularly 'lood' either, at least not the original games. I never played any of the later entries. From what I can tell it looks like they are all rated as Mature rather than AO.
