Henry the protag from Kingdom Come Deliverance isnt a create-a-character and he can be bisexual (at least in II). Moreover the gay path is woven into the main plot unlike how other typical romance paths are treated mostly because the partner is literally the games deuteragonist.

Zagreus from Hades is the only one I can remember. Which is kinda surprising to me. There's such a huge "anti-LGBTQ" backlash from right-wing gamers that I guess I had internalized it a little, and assumed the industry did have more gay characters. But nope.

Hijiyama is fucking gay for Okino, this isn't even a thing that can be debated like some people have been wishy washy about Ike in the topic, and Kim explicitly says that he is a homosexual. Both are male and both are protagonists.

That's what makes their bitching so stupid. There's not even a ton of LGBTQ characters in games. But they clearly won't be satisfied until there's zero representation.

And yeah, Zagreus was the first one that came to mind. It actually caught me off guard at first because I thought they were actual brothers before I learned about Persephone lol.

Not the main character, but Tony from GTA 4's The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC is the deuteragonist of it and is what it's named after. It's something at least.

Coincidentally, theres an NPC in Earthbound named Tony who is gay. He only shows up for a small part of the game though.
