im annoyed because of the general attitude about ordering food in this topic

Delivery apps are a scam,period.

Only ordered from Doordash twice, some delivery drivers either don't care to read the delivery instructions or they're too lazy to read or care about the instructions.

First time I order from a restaurant literally 2 miles from me because I figured I'd get it a bit quicker, even tipped $3 because that's more than enough for 2 miles.

Get the notification that my order is ready to be picked up, driver is already in the parking lot of Taco Bell, yet they spend another 20 minutes sitting in the parking lot. Finally they start heading my way, another 10 minutes and they deliver it but don't follow the delivery instructions to place my order on the table on the porch but instead place it right in front of the screen door and there's no other door here so I couldn't go out and get it. Almost spill the drink opening the door and of course the food is cold.

Got a refund because it was cold and way past the delivery time and got credits for another order.

Week later I order pizza from Little Ceasers, I wait to tip afterwards and glad I did, same driver from the previous one. Late, still hot but in front of the door again.

Didn't tip and wasn't out of anything.

Those two times was enough of a learning experience.

Both times no car and couldn't walk either place.

Never again.

Because CE cannot look past their own anecdotal experiences. If you can get a good deal and your service was solid, then get it TC. Glad you got a good deal
