I haven't seen 2 or 3, but I heard 1 is the best one anyway. It's a legitmately good movie to watch, but as a kid and an adult imo Funny things to note about this children' movie that probably won't fly in today's world >_> -Raph yells out DAMN! a couple of times and Donny says it once -Raph also says "Bitchin'" and wanted to make it the catchphrase of the Turtles lol -April O'Neil gets slapped and punched a bunch of times until she's knocked out -Mikey and Raph multiple times says how hot April O'Neil is and hornypost about her lol -A kid Sam Rockwell is literally selling cigarettes to other kids in Shredder's hideout -Splinter gets tortured -There's a part where Casey Jones is giving April a shoulder massage, and she's wearing a low-cut tanktop with outlines of hornypostings poking through it >_> -That same outfit also gets wet when she goes into the sewers.... -They reference steroids >_> Kids in the 90s got to see all the cool shit. But otherwise the fights scenes are still rad and the puppetry looks really good. It's not super kiddy like the cartoon, but also not too dark and grim to where it's not enjoyable. 2 isn't as good and is more kid friendly, but I still like it. 3 is the one that sucks. The thing I'm surprised they directly adapted was Splinter being Hamato Yoshi's pet rat because that was always the goofiest part of the whole story (admittedly the 80s cartoon turning Yoshi into a rat was questionable in of itself, but it was more believable than the rat learning ninjitsu.). --- I will rule the world, and find that truly good cup of coffee. <cite>Amakusa posted [p:984553150] in The origin... Though maybe just being nostalgic for the time period would be enough. My point is it's very juvenile and I don't know if you'll like it as an adult. Parents complained that the movie "wasn't like the cartoon and was too scary".
