Trump has been a shit-bag con-man. A borderline illiterate man-child born into wealth and propelled forward by loyal minions. Someone who has failed upward, lying and cheating people whilst being insulated from the consequences of his numerous crimes.

Some gamers are pissed because of the recent tax imports (tariffs) that are likely to drive up the prices of numerous products, but us real ones have always found Trump revolting. Anyone who ever supported Trump in his political endeavors is MASSIVE loser and bootlicker.

Trump and other far-right weirdos screech about trans people and immigrants because they are well aware that it's their chosen far-right policies that make people miserable. They know their supporters are gullible enough to blame their neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family, rather than the far-right grifters, and the ultra wealthy parasites they serve. Trans people and immigrants are our allies! They love video games too!

Rich people are the problem!

If you want someone to get pissed at, get pissed at people like Elon Musk. Get pissed at the politicians who serve the rich. Get pissed at the cops who protect both of those groups.

Yeah, but people are stupid, and have been conditioned into believing that the rich are where they are through the grace of God, rather than being evil, exploitative parasites.

If he's a conman, isn't it victim blaming to go after the people who fell for his con?

Fam, no one is "going after" Trump supporters lmao. I'm specifically inviting them to join us Trump Haters.

There are like different tiers to this I think.
Those who supported him in 2016, but realized how terrible he was in his first term.
Those who supported him in 2020, but realized how terrible he was by his actions after losing.
Those who supported him in 2024, but realized Trump without sane people checking him is really terrible.
Those who still support him.

The total number of people in the first 3 tiers combined is like 15.

Id say theres very little difference between these groups, particularly the last 2.

I know we all love our dumbass parents, but Trump was always an obviously profoundly unintelligent, thin-skinned, xenophobic, narcissistic man-baby and quite likely the worlds most obvious snake oil salesman. Being unable to see any of that, particularly this last time where he FUCKING RAN ON IT, isnt an excuse.

And I invite everyone who meets someone whos recently had their face eaten to ask if the face-eatee was really so stupid that they couldnt see it, or if they just expected Trump to hurt the people they dont like but didnt expect themselves to be impacted. Id imagine there are a lot more terrible people than there are people who were legitimately ignorant of his flaws.

Even before 2016 he was a known racist and piece of shit (Obama's birth certificate anyone?) I guess if if you were unaware of that in 2016 and only knew him as the guy from The Apprentice and then you realized how awful he was after you voted for him, then maybe you can have a little sympathy but otherwise, you knew exactly what you were voting for and if you voted for him a second and a third time, zero fucks given for you.

Also started his run for the presidency by calling Mexicans rapists. Some people seemed conveniently able to quickly forget that, just like they conveniently forgot "grab 'em by the pussy," dissing POWs, etc.

The GOP saying we have to trust him this week was bonkers to me.

A person fleeing from certain death, seeking asylum doesnt get the benefit of the doubt and should remain in their state or impending doom but the con man, criminally convicted of cooking his books, and sexual assault, gets the benefit. Right

Reminds me of that crooked preacher who, during Trump's first term, said that Trump deserved a "mulligan" about Stormy Daniels.

Seems like the asshole is being given infinite mulligans, because whether it's immoral or criminal actions he's doing, none of his followers seem to care---or they just outright celebrate his actions.

It would have been difficult to know just how utterly unsuited he was for being President before he was elected, so it would have been reasonable for someone to have voted for him because his policy vector was closer to their preference vector than Clinton's was.

People who bounced off during his first term would be Republicans or Republican affiliates who realized he has no business being President and they are better off having the Democrats win for long enough to cleanse the Republican party of Trumpism.

Those who stopped supporting him due to the aftermath of the 2020 election either thought he did a good job or he was safely contained but his actions showed he was an existential threat to the United States. Plus that any protections people thought might have existed were not going to continue holding Trump back for long.

Now those who supported him in 2024 but regret it now are dumbasses of some sort or another. Either low information voters(I'll group single issue voters into this catergory), who are dumbasses by definition, or people who very much knew better but tricked themselves into voting for him anyways.

It was very clear that he was trying to surround himself with people who'd do whatever he said. Instead of taking memos of his desk so he'd forget about whatever idiotic thing he wanted to do, or just outright refusing to follow his order. He was not going to be held back this time.

Bullshit. This man's career is probably the most documented in history. If you couldn't be assed to look up who Don the con was during his 2016 run then that's entirely on you for being a moron.

Not really since he was a multiple time bankrupted failed businessman. Maybe if you lived in East Bumblefuck you wouldn't know but anyone in New York, New Jersey, Eastern PA, and Delaware knew exactly how unsuited he was (or at least should have known)
