I assume it comes from loyalty. Cena owes his life to Vince and has said so on many occasions.

WWE, which is run by the McMahon family, does not view its workers being pro-Trump as bad PR. I'd be shocked if he doesn't show up at Wrestlemania.

Cena has said similar things before about Vince. He has a tendency of putting his foot in his mouth when trying to see middle ground speaking about serious issues.

Like, it's not wrong for him to still like Vince as a person and boss for strapping the rocket on him, but he always goes about it the wrong way.

The pandemic really showed how valuable WWE & AEW are.

Wrestlers have often been right wing both personally and very middle of the road publicly.

Remember that it isn't typically highly educated nuanced people who are supporting wrestling the most. Is it wrong for wrestlers to... at least keep their target audience placated for their own benefit?

It's always a bummer that it's your favorite wrestlers who turn out being the worst people.

You seem very upset that people are being mildly critical of WWE and some of its talents.

Maybe I'm overthinking it but I think a lot of the dumb PR moves were intentional so WWE would get more social media engagement. The only other WWE news I keep seeing is that people are bored with this year's WM buildup and that their Netflix ratings are dropping.

I think you're in for a rude awakening if you think supporting rich white old right wing criminals is bad PR in America

I don't think the company wants us to be outwardly political. I don't think, and I do feel there is probably different rules for different people. I don't talk about politics with Triple H, Paul Heyman, Roxanne Perez. It's 24/7 wrestling. I think it's pretty obvious what my 'politics' are. I've never understood Democratic or Republican glazing President. [The] President should just do his job. If you're wearing hats and shirts promoting the President and all that stuff, and we have very much seen recently all these people who have voted against their best interests because they thought this President was just going to do bad stupid shit to the people they don't like. Wrestlers supporting Trump is not new or controversial. If he shows up at Wrestlemania, he'll get a huge pop from the crowd. So would Vince for that matter.
