CRON 05/01/25 11:34:46 AM #1:	Their new parent company is egregiously terrible and known for blacklisting writers that bring up low pay. https://kotaku.com/polygon-sold-vox-media-valnet-layoffs-digital-gaming-1851778655 The video game website Polygon has been sold to Valnet and much of its staff has been laid off, Kotaku has learned. Multiple staff members have posted online about losing their jobs or colleagues now being out of work. I had a great time working at Polygon, senior writer Michael McWhertor posted on Bluesky on Thursday. Please let me know if you have any cool job openings! Im no longer with Polygon. If youre hiring, please consider the many talented writers and editors now on the market, posted Polygon co-founder and EIC Chris Plante. Every one of them deserves a spot on your staff. I wont be talking more about the sale because I wasnt involved. Going to hang out with my kid. Taking wins where I can.
