I did play dragon quest 8, I got both versions of dragon quest 11 (the original release and the S re-release) and am currently playing the 2D-HD version of 3, and while they are fine games they aren't exactly blowing my mind. archizzy 05/05/25 9:36:44 PM #6:	All time peak Final Fantasy but for my personal tastes FF hasnt been elite since pre merger. FFX was the last truly great title to me. World of Final Fantasy was better than any mainline title in the post merger era. At least it felt like classic FF to me. FF is dead to me. Dragon Quest has stayed consistently good and delivers what I expect. XI was solid and better than anything FF has done in 20+ years. I love me some Dragon Quest.
