I'll probably give V another shot before this one comes out, but I've tried it a couple times now and it just doesn't grab me. And the cars felt super light and floaty and were incredibly easy to flip over. GTA 4 gave the ability to free aim and added a cover system for shooting, but it felt kind of janky still. And of course there was the driving that tried to go in a more realistic direction, but just ended up making the cars turn like tanks on ice. GTA 5 improved on both the free aiming and the cover system.
