Tonight's pack. Got more shinys this set (6) than regular EXs (4) or shinys from Shinning Revelry (3).

Ready for a gen 2 or 3 set. I have no idea who most of these Pokmon are lol. As soon as I pull shiny Gengar and finish most of this set Im going straight back to SR.

finally been getting some new cards pulling Lunala, but dang missing about 30 cards is worrisome when Im usually only at 4ish at this point before new packs

I hate the new Skarmory meta with a passion, 60 damage on your first turn is absolutely broken

I've gotten so many shinies in these packs and I just want the Immersive Lillie! They all look like crap.

Its easily been over a month since Ive seen a 2 star in wonder pick and I check multiple times per day.

Im getting a lot of one-star full art cards, but very few of the EX cards. This is the worst good luck Ive had, lol

Am I missing something? Why does the meta seem to be shifting to 2 rare candies and 1 stage 1 card instead of 2 stage 1 cards and Pokmon Comm? At least Pokmon comm gives a chance at getting a missing stage 1.

Generally using Rare Candy will let you get your Stage 2 out a turn quicker is usually why.

Do they only have 1 non-ex pokemon out?
Yes: win on your first attack turn with Skarmory
No: do as much damage as you can with Skarmory, then use a rare candy to get your Stage 2 ready

I havent gotten any 3-diamond or higher rarity cards from packs in literal days.

This set has been my worst luck so far too. It feels like 3D are more rare than ex.

Does this game have any sort of luck build up mechanic? I always worry that when I get a fancy card it's eating up lock that could've gone to something better (like I could focus on a different pack of something).

Its purely statistics but your rate of acquiring rare cards isnt evenly spread out. If you go back and calculate the odds of pulling a certain rarity of card you should be fairly close to those odds. For example you should get a 2 star rarity card in 1 out of 50 packs on average. But you may not get it until pack 50 and it feels like the game is giving you crap luck because it took so long.

I just pulled a fkin dupe shiny basic Gengar. A common card would have been less annoying.

Passimian and Rayquaza been pretty bad but together they are a pretty decent deck...
Been attacking early on with Passimian and when he falls, the energy gets bagpacked to Rayquaza. Lot of RNG with where the damage goes but I find myself winning more than not.
Ilima works really good with deck.

Same, broke my no-rares streak this morning but it was my 4th Incineroar.

On the flip side I already got 2 each of the rare cards (Ninetales and Exeggutor) from the new solo battle event.

Did my 4th 10 pack of this set, and this and Crabominable EX are all I really pulled.

I mean, it's not like I've pulled nothing from this set, but Crab is only the fourth EX from this set I've pulled so far, not counting shiny Marowak since that's just a flashier version of the GA card.

Dear game, stop giving me Lillies if you arent going to let me trade them.

^I also have 2 immersive Lillies and yet no Guzmas, not even the basic version.

Kinda having bad luck with supporters in general. Don't have any Lillies and the only Guzma I have is from a Wonder Pick. Also don't have any Mallows yet.

Thanks for the Crobat! Built the deck and its really fun to use. I already loved using Arceus Carnivine but this makes it even sneakier on just how hard you can hit when its all set up. Still debating between sticking with Exeggutor or Crobat since they sort of accomplish different things, but the latter did get me a 9 win streak in Great Ball (ended by an unlucky round against Darktina where I went first and couldnt pull my second Carnivine or Crobat in time).

I guess the main advantage of Crobat over something like Greninja is the free retreat cost

I've opened up almost 120 packs of this set and have not gotten a rare candy from a pack. I've gotten 1 from a wonderpick.
