Saw both the original cut and the special cut that has the sequence of events in a linear manner, honestly felt similar about both which was that it's not necessarily something that's enjoyed but is to be experienced nonetheless.

Watching a woman be beaten and raped for 10 minutes straight just isn't my thing.

Never even heard of it before seeing this topic.

I know Monica Bellucci because she became a big thing known to even me in the middle of the cornfields in the Midwest United States when I was in high school in the early 90's but I wasn't familiar with her foreign movies and this was later and truthfully never heard of it or seen it.

I watch a lot of tv and movies. A stupid amount my entire life. Never remember coming across this ever.
