It doesn't run all that great on PC either. I have a fairly strong setup and while I can blast out frames in a vacuum there is still just tons and tons of stuttering

I have not gotten to make any progress on 2.0 other than the Bangboo event. I kinda feel like the new map stuff wasnt needed since it was already quick and convenient to go anywhere the way it was, but maybe its more helpful in the new region? Ive just been so busy and tired I havent managed to get the time to really dive into the new content yet

This game is running like crap on PS5 lately.

Yeah, I've seen some framerate drops while in combat and some lag in menus (especially the temple adventures map, which usually takes a while to load up).

It's convenient to have fast travel on a grid instead of a line, for sure.

It does remove a loading screen for opening the video store since it's all one area, also it's not a daily but once you unlock the idle business management it's right there too. But personally I just also appreciate the change in scenery.

Edit: Oh you mean the minimap and new screen. Idk I fucking hate the scrolling on the old one

New hub is definitely a lot less clicking and loading than Sixth Street when you're just doing dailies, which is A+ in my book.

Both the grid and the map system are massive improvements over scrolling forever on that awful old fast travel screen IMO. Map system is especially cool in that it lets you instantly go into/out of the Hollow which, based on what we're seeing, I imagine is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of how combat and exploration will continue to be woven together in the future.

Well Ive got a decent start on my Yixuan. Materials farmed up to hit Core F, talents are mostly at 10-11, Lv and W-Engine are both about 55-56 and I think I might have a few halfway decent Drives just from using my Hollow Zero cards

Weirdly enough I'm having much more trouble getting decent pieces for the new stunner set. And it's not like those have to be perfect but I need waaaay more of them. Going for full sets on Lighter and Qingyi, maybe Pulchra if I build her, and a 2pc for Lycaon and Caesar.

They sure didn't hold back on the vibes in these cinema event scenes being just as flirty coded for Belle as the are for Wise.

I saw they actually changed the dialogue to be more overtly flirty for Caesar and Harumasa with Wise and Belle respectively - actually appreciate them putting in effort to have unique writing in places and not just have everyone be Phaethon-sexual regardless of the MC (Though I'm admittedly fine with that approach being the majority of it, lmao)

I love Ellens new play style. Shes so much fun and feels a lot stronger now

Unlocking the new Hollow Zero stuff....Orpheus is not at all what I expected personality wise. Magus is much more in line with what I thought I guess.

Fuck I cant get 6 stars on this DA at all. Ive gotten to 12k~ on Bringer, but no team I bring seems to be able to get the 14k against him. Ive tried Burnice/Grace/Rina (rip my other Anomaly all being Physical), S Anby/Pulchra/Trigger, S Anby/Yixian/Trigger and Yixuan/Nicole/Zhu Yuan and they all failed. Hopefully they replace this clown for a while :(

What do your other teams and scores look like? Without Miyabi or Vivian to brute force Bringer it's rough. IIRC you have Evelyn so you are probably better off trying to get 3-stars on Pompey or Marionettes.

F2P Yixuan with Panda and Pulchra (you even have Trigger who is better) should be able to 3* Marionettes as well, meaning you could swap Ellen over to Bringer and can maybe ride weakness to 2*.

I got 2 stars on Pompey with Evelyn, Lucy & Caesar I believe. I havent hit 3 stars on any of them this time even with buffed Ellen against the Marionettes. I dont have Panda built because it took all this time just to build Yixuan. Ive got no exp materials left. Maybe Im just trash at the combat lol

Pompey is my least favorite fight in the game.

I do not like any boss in any action game that puts delayed explosion puddles on the ground.

I went in to mess with this team comp and I think Pompey is just rough this cycle. First off, all the buffs suck for Evelyn, I think the best one is the stun one but it's still bad. Caesar has some major upsides and downsides here: her shield is a huge help for tanking Pompey's puddles, but also you need three stuns and that's hard with her, super reliant on parry execution. I think she's good just highly skill reliant. Finally the third slot is just extremely underwhelming, I'm barely squeaking by 20k with both Lucy and Nicole (who is real awkward to play but has better buffs). Legit I'm wondering if it's better to go Koleda/Caesar for faster stuns but I'm not building Koleda. But overall, bad cycle for Eve's own boss.

(Not to be the "pull for meta" person but Astra banner is up and not only does she just add thousands of points onto whatever DA team she's on for no reason, she's a great investment for Eve specifically. But also Yuzuha is incoming and you should just pull who you like.)

So maybe you just focus on Marionettes, but I don't really have any experience with Ellen. I know she wants as much field time as possible now, so maybe you try something goofy like Lycaon + Trigger for more damage outside stun?

I hadnt considered trying Trigger with Ellen. Ill give that a go when I get to play again today. I suppose Ill have to build Koleda eventually if I dont have Lighter for my Evelyn. Theres just so many characters to build and it takes up so many resources and thats before you start Drive farming for them too. The gacha curse I guess

LMAO it is exactly the Huohuo dynamic you're so right. Didn't even consider that. Now I'm more worried that SEED will be exactly Firefly/SAM.

Orpheus had some in-game stuff before that hinted she wasnt at all intimidating or serious or anything. A lot of people just immediately assumed what she would be like from a couple seconds in a video though.

There's still hope for SEED because of that thumbs up at least, that is a bit more of an attitude implication than we got from Orpheus posing.

Though the game had just been running like shit on my phone because it couldn't keep up with the effects, but it looks like it forced me back onto high quality 30FPS at some point. Swapping it down to Low 60FPS and it feels like I bought a new phone.

Finally finished the 2.0 story.

It's whatever really. The thing is it had to be done so I could continue playing the REAL game: leveling up in temple management simulator.

Im waiting for the return to Cheesetopia because that event was a lot of fun too

Thankfully the Tidefaire is only at temple level 35, which I finished earlier this week. There's still 10 more levels to go, but there's very few polychromes after that

Temple Management definitely tickles the ol' lizard brain, that's for sure. Lies of P DLC has been stealing my attention so I've still yet to wrap up the story and will be gated on management starting tonight, noooo.

Missed most the DA discussion but I'll say I totally approve of building Koleda to support that Eve team. Eve is like, the only agent in the game that Koleda really works with... it's just that Lighter is still better and I'm guessing Fufu will be too.

Hey, they changed Koleda's passive to work with Rupture agents! So you could uh...use her with Yixuan? Or maybe Orpheus, later? Still seems bad.

Do we know what Ju Fufu wants yet?

Obvious her new 4 pc set (.....arguably every stunner in the game wants the Ju Fufu set now), but as far as main stats go.

The 4pc of that stun set requires 50% crit rate so you put that on disk 4, Impact goes on 6 because stun agent, and atk% vs damage% on 5 never matters. Seems straightforward enough.

Actually I'm wrong as hell, she has a crit buff that scales with her attack up to 3400 so she just builds full attack%? That's fucking weird.

I regret to inform you guys despite many more attempts I couldnt get 6 stars. I came within about 2k points every time. Ah well

Cleared the Miasma Priest fight with 20k on Yixuan fairly easy but got 0 performance points lol. Time to actually learn how to play.

Got an A on stage 6 and 7 of Shiyu. Not too bad considering I had to run Yixuan/Pulchra/Nicole for one half which isnt the greatest team for her. I am also missing some Crit Rate on Yixuan since I dont have many drives for her set yet. Maybe I shouldve used Ellens team against the twins instead too, but I dunno.

Definitely a fun set of battles this time though it helps Yixuan and Ellen both have abilities to just not take damage from attacks

The despair I felt when I realized I thoughtlessly threw Lighter at Pompey to join Eve which meant he wasn't free to enable Hugo to smack down the Marionettes :( Ended up just throwing Miyabi at them - having both her and Yixuan available from here on is going to lighten the 9 starring DA load quite a bit - might actually be downright comfortable by the time Yuzuha drops!

Hitting those parties is extremely important. It gives points, it can impair the boss for a damage boost, it builds adrenaline for Yixuan, also stun generation is at a huge premium. Try as I might I can only get two stuns off even on my best runs, the shield phase takes too long and pauses stun meter. I think 50% of the way to the third was my best so....Jufufu is absolutely going to be able to do it.

Yixuan's resource management is kind of a lot bit also really engaging...based on her Rupture just feels like "the cooler Attack"

Also Yuzuha cannot come fast enough, Nicole on the Miyabi/Vivian team is just not it

Dang dude, you obliterated my scores with the same teams on fights 2 and 3! I did kind of fumble the second a bit for not remembering how to use Nicole optimally, but I felt like I was playing extremely well on the third and only got ~28k.

I had trouble timing the parry in the Miasma Priest fight. It feels like its much tighter in reaction time or the game is having speed issues there since some other stuff has slowed down from the update too.

Well, M1 Astra puts in a ton of work honestly. It feels crazy good on this fight. And I got my new Lighter build with Hellfire Gears and King of the Summit online which is a lot of extra buffs. The stage buffs are still garbage for Eve so these help a lot.

Ah heck I do need to get this done. I actually have Lighter sig so I've even less excuse, though I'm not sure how much that stacks up to M1 Astra. Saving Miasma Priest for when I actually finish story this weekend but I'm excited to sic my M1 Shifu at him!
