Sohow does one build Yuzuha? Im intending on using her with Jane and most likely Burnice on that team if that matters. Heard Lucys W-Engine is her best A one too?

She's so simple to build that the in-game guide is correct for once.

And yes she wants an energy regen engine so Kaboom, though if you have Weeping Cradle it's really good on her too

How the fuck do you do this new Assist training thing? It wants me to dodge counter and swap to a character, but the timing seems literally frame perfect to pull it off and I cant seem to do it

I keep losing Hollow Zero runs because of the boss timer on intensity 4. Just couldn't beat the final boss last time after a bunch of tries, barely. :/

I gave up on the assist dodge training after half an hour

What teams do you use and what builds do you go for? Cause I can tell you, I beat Intensity 15 last week with Yixuan and the trial Jufufu, and straight up I think anything that isn't an ult-spam build just isn't worth the time to attempt. They've really squished any diversity out of the game mode.

also could NEVER be me I bought the one for normal currency immediately and the only reason I don't have the other two is that the special currency is biweekly-gated and I spent all mine on mats lol

Last one was Astra/Miyabi/Yixuan, starting with Ultimate gear, and I was spending every resource my team had like my life depended on it and still couldn't burn down the Miasma Priest's HP.

Oh well Miyabi is dragging you down there. She has zero synergy with Yixuan and Miasma Priest is specifically designed to counter Miyabi and anomaly teams more generally. You're better off using panda to buff Yixuan to the moon. I've done high intensity with Miyabi, but she's very reliant on her Anomaly buddy to back her up, Vivian/Astra is the hard carry.

Ah, makes sense. Could I have seen that Miasma Priest was the boss before starting, though? I usually don't even have characters die on these things, let alone get stuck without the possibility of winning, so I haven't been thinking about optimizing much.

If youre doing Lost Void Hollo Zero I think its only Miasma Priest right now. Aside from that I dunno if you can always tell who the boss is gonna be? I got Bringer once when all my buffs were for Geppettos fight

Yeah and people really underestimate his buffs because he's an A-rank. Yuzuha releasing is a big deal because she's a second buffer on the level of Astra. Well, Astra #2 already existed for Yixuan, his name is Pan Yinhu.

Yuzuha is simple too isnt she? Ex Attack and swap off seems to be all she needs to do?

His ult also heals, which is super useful when you get to the the higher intensities and you're constantly building up miasma and taking damage.

I haven't played around with her outside of the tutorial yet but iirc it's important that she hit parries to get her Aftershock stacks. She even has a manual parry she can activate on field with her hold basic, and both parries can chain directly into her EX. So she already has tech.

Yuzuha having a bit of gameplay sauce is nice - press a button and disappear is fine for generalists but I wouldn't want every non-DPS agent to work that way, least of all the dedicated supports

Astra on that HZ run also obtained an ability that makes her fire a continuous beam on tag-in after building up enough power. Pretty good damage it seemed like.

literally when I read this post I went "ok orphie & seed I get but who the fuck is alice" before remembering there's a second agent in Yuzuha's faction dropping in the back half of the patch

She just doesn't have the sauce tbh

Shes got a swimsuit tho

I cannot afford any more skins, I'm still upset I had to skip Yixuan's

But given the last few patches I wouldn't make any pulling decision based on skins because it seems like Hoyo might ACTUALLY do frequent releases for once

edit: Actually there is one skin they could release that would impact my pulling decisions. Mihoyo: I will pull SAnby if you release an outfit for her that's just her original A-rank design.

I've got like 3k+ of monochrome and I don't want a single skin ;_; stop releasing stuff for new people I don't know and start releasing them for Jane!

I would have agreed, but I've been told by my friends who have actually started playing the patch story that Alice does actually have the sauce.

They're exact words were she's "The Best".

The Hoyo Special: Tease a character that doesn't seem to be anything too special based purely on design and then make you fall wildly in love with them once the story and actual gameplay drops

Finished the patch. I quite liked it! Much better than the other "side story" patches. I really wasn't a fan of Mockingbird.

Yuzuha and Alice are both great. Both gameplay and story have convinced me to get Alice when she releases.

There is.....REALLY no excuse if Isolde isn't a unit. I am dying on this hill if need be.

Only one thing in the latch really bothers me. The resolution of Yixuan's story from what was teased at the end of 2.0 to how it's resolved here at the end was SUPER weak. Felt completely phoned in. Did it even need to be here? She doesn't even show up until the end. I am super confident that there must have been some major 2.x rewrites from what was planned that they had to work around.

Alice's beta was such a ride that it took over 10 minutes for me to confidently conclude what her WEngine now is.

......It REALY feels like I can just give her EVERYTHING I have on Jane, including Jane's sig.
