The Great Value sandwiches comes in a wrapper that you microwave them in that actually keeps it crispy. It has more cheese and pepperoni too. And is cheaper.

Fun fact: When removing the sleeves they also removed the oven directions. There are no oven directions on that box. I always cook mine in the oven. It pisses me off. It's usually 350 degrees for 28 minutes or so.

microwave hot pockets are worthless. oven pockets are near gourmet

put two frozen ones in microwave for 1 minute

then brush butter or olive oil on the exteriors. season with garlic salt and herbs of ur choice (i use oregano and rosemary)

put in oven at 400 for about 15 minutes

they come out gourmet im telling you. if yer gonna nuke em dont even bother buyin em

I also don't eat Hot Pockets regularly and haven't had one since my last place, so easily before the pandemic.

HOWEVER, I never microwaved them. I always oven baked them. Once you have an actual crispy hot pocket you never want to go back to the soggy microwaved type.

Then again most of the time I don't want any hot pocket lol.

they've been gone for like at least a year. maybe a few years. i barely buy them but last time i did i was like wtf where's the sleeve? never tried to microwave them. i've always put them in the air fryer since i got one.

Do the hot pockets have actual separate eggs and bacon in them? I tried Jimmy Dean breakfast burritos and was deeply disappointed. The eggs, cheese and bacon were just a weird homogenous paste. It tasted vaguely like the ingredients were in there, but they were indistinguishable within the yellow mush inside the burrito.

I bought some at Aldi's very recently. They were fine. I over did the second one, but eh my bad. I also saw on the box where it said, yeah he don't include paper sleeves anymore. I guess that's worth bragging about? But also who uses those microwave discs that are included in other microwave pizzas.

I am not the Hot Pockets guy, but 3 bucks for two. Eh it's been awhile. I wasn't upset.
