No idea. I legit havent bought clothes in like 20 years. My last pair of shoes I bought in 2004 when I bought my house. Also even when I bought clothes it was always super cheap stuff. Like plain colored fruit of the loom t-shirts that cost a couple bucks.

I take it back, about 10 years ago I bought some more socks so I had enough to go over a month without needing to do laundry. That was my last clothes purchase.

I have work boots I wear for work. My sneakers get worn outside of work which generally equates to a grocery store trip once a week. Im not running in them daily or anything. Hell even my work boots that get used WAY more than my sneakers Im on my second pair at year 27 at my job.

Youre either like my friend who runs like 7 to 13 miles a day who goes through a pair of running shoes every 3 to 6 months or you are one of those people who drag your feet badly as you walk.

Socks are good quality smart wool socks that look nearly as good as when I bought them. cant tell the difference from the ones that are 10 years old vs 20 years old. My boxers are fine. Clean and holding up great but faded in color from all the washing. But I have like almost 40 pair of them. I have always had a high number.

Keep judging though and doubting.

It's just weird, man. There's nothing wrong with buying new clothes now and again.

Im not saying others are wrong for doing it. I just dont feel the need for me. I bought a lot when I was in my late teens and early 20s and they are all in great shape. I enjoy athletic shorts and have like 50 different pair of nice adidas shorts in all styles and colors. I feel no need to buy more these days.

I have plenty of socks, boxers, and t-shirts and they are all in great shape. I only wear jeans in the winter when I go out to the grocery store. Ive had the same two pair for like 25 years. They are in great shape and barely get used.

I really dont see what is weird about this. I have a closet full of varied clothes in good shape. I see zero reason to add more. Outside of my teens and early 20s when i did enjoy buying new outfits i just didnt feel the impulse once i hit my late 20s.
