Yes, rules should be ignored because the person who broke them claimed they were in the medical field. For the future mods I am also a medical doctor so any rule breaking should be allowed.

Okay, but in that topic, the user was literally trying to argue their character, saying they never said anything of the sort. And then it was found out they had. And this was said to you, numerous times, as well. Yet you kept defending him, anyway, for reasons you never actually explained, so we naturally just made our own assumptions.

And then the same scenario happened a few weeks later with somebody praising Stalin.

So, y'know, habits are noticeable.

It's not about topicality, it's the specific things he does. Like if I head to the oblivion remastered topic and like "LOL I don't care about this" with no other comments and then when people tell me to shut up I respond with shit like "it's not that serious bro" or "who cares?" Or stupid batman quotes.

Except instead of it being about an inconsequential video game, he goes on to do it in topics about the fascist takeover of America where people are dying regularly because of it.

It's great that some people are in a position of privilege where they aren't hurt by the way things are at least for the time being, but the absolute minimum you could do if you're in that position is not brag about it to the faces of the people who are suffering because of it.

Many medical professionals do and my experience of paramedics is they could come off very callous or demeaning to their patients. I certainly would never share or speak about any of mine in public or on here.

Neon is tame compared to what some have said to me though. Straight up jokes about how they could assault them and they'd never know.

Not that them being even more terrible makes Neon any better.

To me this board took a definite step towards being about politics/current events around the election and when it got the LUE treatment.

Here's my question for the people randomly rushing in to defend neon:

What does he even do besides shitpost and "lol horny?" What makes him a "high quality poster," exactly? Are you all also just like that and feel comradery?
