One of the greatest games ever made.

Too bad the execs got involved in the sequels. The original is a masterpiece and the director was making a small game and so they let her do whatever she wanted to.

Every single sequel and side-story has been trash.

If you like Life Is Strange...well there really isn't much else like it, is there? I'd give "The Lurking Horror" a try--it's an old text-based adventure game (the kind of game on which Life Is Strange is based).

Persona 4 kinda reminds me of LiS as well.

Loved the first one, second one was pretty good. Before the Storm was meh (I'm not a fan of Rachel), haven't played True Colors, and what they did in Double Exposure killed my interest in the series for now.

When Episode 4 of the first one dropped, I'd been gaming nearly 35 years, and nothing -- nothing -- had ever hit me as hard as the final scene.

I haven't played it before so I'm indifferent.

I think I got it for free via steam at some point but I never booted it up yet.

I really enjoyed it, but I've barely thought about it since I put it down. I've been thinking about trying the later games, but I've just never really gone out of my way for it.

A good game, but not one I feel the need to ever actually return to.

Yes. The rewind power was an interesting mechanic and the story was pretty good.

I couldn't stand the prequel, however. I only made it through the first chapter before giving up on the game. Too much angst. Who lights a forest on fire because they are having teenage angst or were neglected or whatever the piss poor excuse was?

Are we thinking different games? Second game was politics and treatment of immigrants.

He might have been thinking of Double Exposure. That one felt extremely fake and "corporate" with its representation, after the first game did it effortlessly.

Because Deck Nine fucking suck and don't know what they're doing and should not be allowed to make games in this franchise.
