It's not a catchphrase if he said it once in an episode of a cartoon. A catchphrase is what the character says in like every work he appears in and everyone cheers or laughs because they were waiting for it. It's not about the dialogue itself, but what that introduction usually means in context. Different parts of the story call for different kinds of catchphrases. Batman stories are (usually) in a setting where the evil is firmly rooted and close to invincible. Batman's initial arrival throws a wrench into the cogwork of Gotham's criminal machine. It's a line that's usually used early in the story to establish that the status quo has shifted with his arrival. If we look at some of the other catchphrases, we could probably separate them based on where they're usually used >_> Introduction (I'm Batman) Rising Action (This looks like a job for Superman!) Climax (Beware my power...Green Lantern's Light!) Falling Action ("Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!" I feel like this is usually after the action but before things start settling down) Conclusion (And I would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids! *laughter, fade to black*) The closest Batman analogue for Superman's phrase would be probably Adam West's "Quick, to the Batmobile!". >_> --- Lusa Cfaad Taydr ...
