Ok I said yesterday I'd get this updated so here we go. As luck would have it all 28 remaining characters were already in the table. Reminder on colour-codings:

-Green: have tied or exceeded their newstats PB this contest
-Pink: won a contest in the oldstats era
-Gold (a new colour coding!): character still alive in this contest so you can spot them quicker

Some quick notes/highlights:

Kimahri 55, Prompto 51, Jack 31, Ritz 29 and Quistis 28 are now all green-shaded TBDs as they're guaranteed to exceed (or in Quistis's case, at least tie) their previous newstats PB

Lots of character PB opportunities riding on the next week, especially as we head into the 6-save meatgrinder:

25: Seifer
24: Sabin
23: Cid T
23: Y'shtola
23: Layle
22: Cait Sith

(something about that Day 78/23rd place, geez...)

Prompto is the best positioned for potential leapfrogging in his series with a couple of characters in the days ahead, and then another couple at the start of top 20.

And in case you're wondering about overall (including oldstats) best placements regardless of percentages/# of participants: other than those shaded in pink for their oldstats wins, there's:

Kimahri: 46th (out of 50 lol), CIII
Seifer: 15th (out of 75), CIX
Quistis: 11th (out of 75), CXIII

and Ashe, Sabin, Yuffie and Tifa finished 2nd in contests you can look up on the Board8 wiki. Everyone else's newstats PB either ties or exceeds whatever their oldstats best placement was, or they're a newstats-only character.

I won't stand for this Byron and Dion erasure.

Along with all of VIII and Cid Telamon (for pj), plus all of X (or just whichever ones you actually care about, namely Tidus/Yuna) and Sabin (for you) all lived while y'all napped so in this one very recent case y'all snoozed and literally did not lose a damn thing!

Feels bad to see pj getting the credit for this when it's been Ark and me pushing Cid this far.

Sorry... I guess I just lump pj into the devious old VIII + VIII crew even if they haven't saved much XVI since Byron went out

But great job on getting Cid the push he deserves!

I was willing to give my third save to Cid T many times! He was just always safe by then. He hasn't needed my help for a while now.
