What is happening

Snowball Fight #Unlucky 13 - Y'sh Tola Rhul

Ritz had taken a temporary break from her killing to get her learner's license, in a jurisdiction where you only need to be 14 to get it. Because you need an adult as a passenger to drive, she took the time to dig Lightning's corpse out of her grave and put it in the passenger seat, because if she got pulled over by the police it might be plausible that it was just her mom who was high off her face on percocets. Genius.

After a few hours of learning she parked her ratty 1999 Subaru Legacy, and an envelope whisked through the air and landed in front of her. It read as follows:

"Congratulations on your hard work, dearest Ritz, in honour of your continuing massacre's success, I have decided to gift you a brand new Toyota Corolla to aid you in your journey. You may find it at [Insert Smiffficia Address Here].

With love,
Emet-Selch

Return Address
[Insert other Smiffficia Address Here]"

Ritz was elated - whoever this Emet-Selch was, (she was unsure because clearly his game came out after Final Fantasy Tactics Advance) she appreciated his generosity. She found the listed address and what she saw horrified her. It was a white Corolla adorned with giant viera ears and instead of paint, it was fur. The headlights were... horrifying as they had been adjusted to look like eyes. As well, the license plate read SNWBLL.

Immediately, she began having flashbacks to Shara's death and her trauma about having white hair. A furor immediately overtook her and she wanted to confront this 'Emet-Selch'. As she headed to the driver's seat with Lightning's corpse in tow, she found a note stuck under the windshield wipers which said "I'm sorry, the only car we had available was this Y'sh Toyota Corhulla. My sincerest apologies."

She got in the car and stepped on the gas, careening through Smiffficia to the return address Emet had provided so that she could give him a piece of her mind. As she approached the building at the address, a white-haired Viera stepped out and Ritz's PTSD kicked into gear. Memories of Shara overflowed and she put the pedal to the floor, striking the white Viera who was violently thrown approximately 15m, because the imperial system is still inferior.

As Ritz got out of the car, she decided that due to the license plate, this was technically a snowball kill, which was good enough for her. Another envelope fluttered down and she opened it up - "Thank you for doing my work for me. With nastiness, Emet-Selch." While Ritz acknowledged that she had been played, she wasn't upset for she had claimed another victim. Perhaps she could meet this Emet-Selch in the future, should she survive another 17 rounds.

After dismantling the Viera ears from the side of the car she drove off to find Mustadio's Body Shop, where she could get the car fixed and painted pink, as well as get the blood cleaned off. As she set off, she pushed Lightning's body out the passenger door as Mustadio might not take kindly to her showing up with a corpse. Genius.

Well nobody knows for sure because Lopen made that post and then fell off the face of the earth apparently. Here's the facts:

>Lopen offers NRs for various characters at the end of the round because he loves "chaos"
>Some NRs went unclaimed so he rescinded them
>The one NR that WAS claimed went toward a character Lopen loathes
>He would rather trade that NR away to Aerith via kotetsu than have to accept that his "chaos" would result in him having to save Quina next round for Prompto this round, a character Lopen likely doesn't actually even care about
>Lopen says new main unlocked and posts an image of Aerith high fiving Cloud

Now here's what's open to interpretation:

>Scenario A Lopen mains Aerith for one round out of gratitude for Kotetsu saving him from himself
>Scenario B Lopen mains Aerith for the duration of the contest because "chaos" (Jack much better choice imo)
>Scenario C Lopen is joking and does none of these things, just fulfills his traded away NR for Aerith next round and goes back to doing whatever he was doing before which I guess is even more chaos

Who the hell knows, really? I sure don't.

Snowball fight was good, I appreciated the Lightning cameo. Technically her corpse was in the car that killed Ysh, so Lightning got to kill someone the same way she was killed!

Quite analytical Miqo'te (catgirl) with a particular specialty and interest in ancient ruins and history, with talent in conjury and thaumatergy (white and black magic). Triple Triad does exist in universe so she's probably heard of it.

Good comparison would be Lulu

Opponent: Y'shtola Rhul
Region: Sharlayan
Rules: Open, One

Quistis's travels had brought her back to this region. She'd heard rumors of another highly skilled player emerging on the scene. After how enjoyable her match with Alphinaud had been, she couldn't pass up an opportunity to face this new challenger.

This time, her opponent was Y'shtola, a female Miqo'te who specialized in both white and black magic. She also had an interest in archeology. This was not an opponent to be taken lightly.

"I heard you defeated Alphinaud," Y'shtola said, wasting no time getting to the point. "I expect a good match from you. I've chosen to keep the rules basic for our duel. May the best player win."

"Straight to business, huh? I can respect that," Quistis said. "I've heard good things about you, too. I'm looking forward to our game."

With their brief pleasantries concluded, the Triple Triad match began. Y'shtola lived up to her reputation. Her moves were carefully calculated, and she didn't leave herself open. Quistis knew this match would require her full concentration.

Each turn was tense and kept Quistis on the edge of her seat. However, she felt in control the entire time. Y'shtola was undeniably skilled, but at the same time, she didn't fear losing. She trusted in her own ability completely.

Sure enough, when her last turn came, Quistis played her Celes card and won the match. She felt a satisfied smile come to her face as she congratulated Y'shtola on a well played game.

"I thoroughly enjoyed playing against you. You lived up to your reputation," Quistis said.

"I could say the same of you," Y'shtola said. "I gave you my best, and you still emerged victorious. I'll keep honing my craft, so come back and play me again sometime."

"You can count on it," Quistis said. She was getting a lot of invitations for rematches on her travels, but she would make sure she responded to them all.

Looking for H1 alliance moving forward I think. For Seymour of course.

If Lopen follows through I'm going to be down a Tidus save tomorrow. As much as I'd love to continue giving Ashe saves for free, I legitimately have no idea where his final save will come from most days and would like to not have to try to trade for him in the end round rush so... can I propose Ashe/Tidus H2 trade for one round only?
