I always felt weird about that word because I am aware of what it can mean. But my mom grew up in Corvallis Oregon where they have the Oregon Beaver school. And so it always sounded weird to hear people talking about beavers or being a beaver fan ... Copied to Clipboard!

And so it always sounded weird to hear people talking about beavers or being a beaver fan I know what you meant by Oregon school but as a die hard sports fan people lose their mind when you dont properly designate Oregon State vs just saying Oregon.
