Snowball Fight #XIII(II) - Red XIII

Ritz was driving her sick as fuck pink Corolla through the highways of Smiffficia, with her windows down and her hair flowing in the breeze. She wasn't driving particularly fast because she had nowhere to be. Much to her surprise, she caught the sight of a snazzy sports car in her rear view mirror which caught up to her fairly quickly and pulled up on her right. It matched her speed and in the driver's seat she saw a blond dude who looked like Cloud Strife but with snazzier hair and skinnier arms. In the passenger seat was user andylt, whose identity she deduced because for some reason there was a name tag stating 'andylt'. "Blond boi summer!" shouted the blond-haired dude. She had no idea what that meant.

In the distance she saw a small flickering fire slightly above the ground and as the vehicles approached her focus narrowed as she realized that this was her prey who had escaped in the past, the cat...dog... thing with not-actually-two-tails. She yelled "Sorry boys! Got some hunting to do." out the window before speeding up to catch the dog... cat... thing running specifically down the middle of the highway. She put on The Extreme from Final Fantasy VIII to amplify the mood of the chase.

The sports car sped up as well, and as it caught up user andylt screamed across the highway and over the sounds of the engines "Nah girl, this one's mine!". Ritz was startled, as she had never had competition for a kill before, and by the unspoken rules of snowball fights, she could only take out one victim per day.

The cars roared down the highway in parallel, catching up to the... animal... and Ritz knew that she had to act quickly so that she could claim her kill. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the blond boi hand user andylt a pistol - a remarkably efficient weapon. But Ritz always had a contingency plan. She pulled out the katana with a snowball impaled on the blade that she kept next to her in the driver's seat, holding it out the window with a reverse grip. User andylt attempted to take some shots but fortunately he missed because it was clearly not his gun. She imbued the katana and snowball with Last Breath, because she had also mastered the Assassin job. Masterfully, with a massive *schwing*, she flung the snowball off the end of the katana into the side of the... thing...

The... creature... began to stumble and tripped over its front paws, planting its face into the concrete. Her plan had worked, and she had gotten her mark. Both vehicles slammed on their brakes and performed a sick Tokyo drift, before returning to the now-corpse of the... mammal... in the middle of the highway.

Everyone got out of their cars to inspect the body, whose tail was no longer aflame, and user andylt glared at Ritz and declared "You win this time, but next animal is mine!" before getting back into blond boi's car and driving off. What an oddly specific statement, Ritz mused to herself. Having claimed victory in her faceoff, she got back in her rad as fuck pink Corolla, put on cruise control, and listened to the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack while simultaneously realizing that the... feline or canine charmander... was actually Red XIII. But she did not care, as snowballs are indifferent to their targets.

I've been coming here since the first character battle (I believe it was the 2nd match of the 2nd round, DK vs Aya Brea) and even participated in other save-mys well before I started participating in this but somehow never caught this one in particular for several years. Maybe SMFFFC somehow avoided ever taking place during the summer in that era, because I didn't visit much outside of contest season for several years.

Tidus doesn't even deserve an asterisk. Not like no one has ever voted just to help a friend. Also, people seemingly forget FFD nullified those votes; he said he was abstaining but since Inviso voted for Tidus he cast all 10 of his votes for Kefka. If you remove 10 from Kefka and 10 from Tidus, then add the votes to Kefka that Inviso didn't make Tidus still won because Inviso made votes for Kefka already before deciding to vote for Tidus. I believe it was at least 4 times (maybe) so Tidus still wins by 1 vote.
