Probably should have clarified in the OP, but 100% true its free to you, cost of dinner is all on Fred. Hell write it off as a business expense or something.
I am ordering crab cakes, a wedge salad, a ribeye, and whatever the best desert is. Old fashioned to start, red wine with dinner, and port after dinner. Probably be pretty drunk by the end.

That all sounds fantastic.

And yeah, if you want Fred to take you to any 3 Michelin Star restaurant in the world, its all fair game.

The value of this could easily be thousands of dollars.

So I can eat anywhere I want, order as much as I want and Durst will vouch for the bill? Count me in.

I know some people here still wouldn't care about a dinner like that, and would take the $50 to buy a game or something

After learning that Durst was just purposefully grifting dudebros the entire time he made music and getting massively rich while just not giving a fuck I gained a lot of respect for that man. Still hate the fucking music though lol.

Dinner with Durst. I think it'd be a hoot to hear some stories from back in the 90s.

I'm guessing it's gonna be a cult classic among fans in like 10 years?

Have you seen it? It's a surprisingly well made piece of trash starring an absolutely bonkers John Travolta. I loved it, and I think it will absolutely have a cult following of some kind in the future lol

Dinner with Durst. I'll order a ton of food and ask for to-go boxes. That's $50+ I don't need to spend on food which I can use for a video game or something. Plus I'm sure he'd have some interesting stories to share

No to-go boxes.

Because I said so just now.

Eat it all there, or else.

Dinner with Durst is a no brainer, even though I dislike his music and persona.

  • The dinner itself will be at a high end restaurant worth more than $50. The food will be delicious and that has value. On special occasions or on foreign vacations, I've spent hundreds of dollars on Michelin or Michelin-worthy restaurants with the wife and it was worth every penny to enjoy that memorable culinary experience.
  • While I don't like Durst's music, he must have wisdom to share about his many years in the entertainment industry, including both his highest highs and lowest lows. That knowledge is worth more than $50. Hell, I have projects I could probably leverage him for that would have marketing value if he's open.
  • It's just an interesting story to share with people. I've had the privilege of working with a lot of celebrities in my career and even though it's not actually anything glamorous or life changing about it, there's always something I learned from the experience. I just like trying new things and meeting a variety of people with unique life perspectives.

As others said, you can easily get a lot more than $50 worth of food at dinner.

So the table is set, its just one of those days for me.
